Privacy policy
Soundcheck is a small personal project that tells you by email or Telegram when artists you follow announce shows near you. This page explains what we store and why.
What we store
- Your email address, to sign you in and send you concert alerts.
- Your password, stored only as a secure hash. We can never see the password itself. If you only sign in with Google, there is no password at all.
- Your Google account ID, if you sign in with Google, to recognise you next time. We only ask Google for your email address, nothing else from your account.
- Your city and the artists you follow, to find shows for you.
- Your Telegram chat ID, if you connect Telegram, so our bot can message you.
- Which alerts you want and which ones we have sent, so you never get the same alert twice.
Cookies
We use one cookie to keep you logged in, and a short-lived one while you sign in with Google to protect that step. No ads, no tracking, no analytics.
Who else is involved
- Ticketmaster provides concert data. We only ask them about artists, never send your personal details.
- Resend delivers our emails, so it receives your email address and the alert.
- Telegram delivers bot messages, if you connect it.
- Google handles sign-in, if you choose it.
- Railway hosts the app and the database.
We never sell or share your data with anyone else.
Your choices
In Settings you can choose which alerts you get, disconnect Telegram, change your email or password, and delete your account. Deleting it removes your email, city, artists, Telegram connection and alert history from our database right away.
